Can you please tell me if this dagger is of genuine manufacture including etching from WW2.

Walter Koch (10 September 1910 – 23 October 1943) was a highly-decorated commander of the Fallschirmjäger during World War II. He was commander of Sturmabteilung (Assault Battalion) Koch

He became well known for assaulting Belgium 10-11 May 1940 and capturing the formidable modern Fort Eben-Emael which defended the Albert Canal as well three bridges over the canal.

Has this dagger belonged to Maj. W. Koch? The dagger is a genuine LW 2 model WKC, but what about etching and so on?
