THE AUTHOR
Ron Flook has had a scholarly interest in knives since the early 1970s. Much of this interest initially surrounded military knives and this led him to produce a small booklet: A Photographic Primer of Military Knives, which was followed by what has now been acknowledged as the standard work on the subject - his British and Commonwealth Military Knives. He has also had published a number of magazine articles on knives and is a member of the Antique Bowie Knife Association..
