Broad arrow B2 FR693

The origin of FR693 marked knives goes back to 1955 and were most likely used by the Royal Marines. Wartime Commando-knives were taken apart refurbished and assembled again. They were then marked FR693 on the pommel with die fitted to the curve of the pommel. The sheaths were marked FR271.

The rare number of these knives which have been noticed are marked Broad arrowB2 on the cross guard.

In 1964 Wilkinsons filled an order from the Admiralty. Already 1965 they became obsolete.
